Country Nights Gala an Evening to Remember; Some 260 Guests Celebrate House of Heroes

House of Heroes Connecticut's 9th Annual Hearts & Heroes Gala on Saturday, March 22, was a "Country Nights" hoedown to remember! Some 260 guests joined the party at The Aqua Turf Club in Southington to eat, drink, dance to the sounds of American Honey (with some line-dancing help from party starters Stompin' Boots), play saloon games and bid on fantastic Silent Auction prizes. It was all in the name of celebrating the mission of House of Heroes Connecticut to provide no-cost home repairs to military and public safety veterans in need - and our enormous success over the past 13 years in fulfilling it.

Special Guest Host and HOHCT's dear friend Renee DiNino of WFSB Channel 3 helped keep the festivities at our biggest annual fundraiser moving along, and volunteers from the Quinnipiac University Dance Team did a great job helping out with our raffle and saloon games. The evening was highlighted by the presentation of HOHCT's William J. May III Service Above Self Awards. Congratulations to Liberty Bank (Sponsor of the Year), Pat Munger Construction Company (Craftsmen of the Year). Paul Strom (Volunteer of the Year) and Northwestern Regional School District No, 7 Superintendent Steve LePague (Strength in Service Award). HOHCT thanks our honorees, our Board and Planning Committee, and all of our guests, sponsors, Project Partners, donors, supporters and volunteers for making this wonderful event a rip roarin' success!

I recently attended the House of Heroes Connecticut 9th Annual Hearts & Heroes Gala, and it was truly an unforgettable evening. With around 260 guests, the energy was incredible as we enjoyed live music, line dancing, and fun saloon games. The event also honored amazing individuals and organizations making a difference in veterans’ lives. After such a lively night, I treated myself to a Dermaplaning Colorado Springs session, which left my skin smooth and refreshed, helping me feel pampered and revitalized while reflecting on the inspiring celebration.

The House of Heroes Connecticut’s 9th Annual Hearts & Heroes Gala was a night filled with music, dancing, and heartfelt celebrations, all dedicated to supporting veterans in need. With over 260 guests, the event showcased the power of community and generosity through auctions, games, and special awards. Just like how this gala united people for a noble cause, online tests for students are designed to bring structure, fairness, and opportunities for growth in education. Both highlight the importance of dedication, support, and meaningful impact. Events like this remind us that when people come together, great things happen.
