Thank you to everyone who came out to support House of Heroes at the annual Abner Oakes III Memorial Veterans Run! It was a wonderful day with more runners than ever before. We’re especially grateful to Team Mossman Events for their continued dedication to honoring Abner and supporting our Connecticut veterans. Abner was a true hero for veterans and a dear friend to House of Heroes Connecticut, helping us get started many years ago. His spirit and commitment continue to inspire us all—he is greatly missed in the veteran community.
