The 8th Annual Golden Kielbasa Veterans Open, presented by Farmington Bank, took place September 29 at Tunxis Plantation Country Club in Farmington and raised $25,000 for Connecticut veterans. Some 185 golfers and more than 250 dinner guests helped raise funds for the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), House of Heroes Connecticut (HOHCT), Friends of Fisher House Connecticut (FHC) and more. In the past six years, the state’s largest veterans charity golf event has generated $87,000 to assist veterans.
