Lockheed Martin/Sikorsky Veteran's Day Project
While many people across CT and the nation were celebrating Veterans in various ways, Lockheed Martin chose to "Make A Difference in Day" in the life of a Vietnam Vet in Shelton. Approximately 30 volunteers from Sikorsky/A Lockheed Martin Company completed masonry work, painting, plumbing, door replacement, yard-work and a basement clean out, all to honor a Veteran in need. Through the generosity of these individuals and the corporate sponsorship from Sikorsky, HOHCT will be able to help many more Vets in the coming year.
