While many people across CT and the nation were celebrating Veterans in various ways, Lockheed Martin chose to "Make A Difference in Day" in the life of a Vietnam Vet in Shelton. Approximately 30 volunteers from Sikorsky/A Lockheed Martin Company completed masonry work, painting, plumbing, door replacement, yard-work and a basement clean out, all to honor a Veteran in need. Through the generosity of these individuals and the corporate sponsorship from Sikorsky, HOHCT will be able to help many more Vets in the coming year. House of Heroes is thrilled to have this relationship with a company that cares about our military veterans. Take a peek at some pictures from the project.
